Brandon's surgery

Brandon had his adenoids removed Tuesday, as well as some allergy testing and blood work. It went well. I think the best part was watching cartoon network and eating Popsicles afterwards.

Brandon decided that his hand looked like C3-PO from Star Wars, so we had to take a picture so he could remember it.

I think Ethan was just glad it wasn't him back in that hospital bed.

We left home before 5:00am and got there around 7:00 for a 9:30 procedure and were home around 3:00 that afternoon. Today, Wednesday he has a little sore throat and feels a little tired but is back to eating normally and feeling pretty good. Nothing a few extra Popsicles and watching movies can't cure.

Darth Vader Loves Jesus

I haven't figured out turn the video, when I watch it from my harddrive on my computer it's the right direction. If I figure it out, I'll reload it. This is a Darth Vader mask that Brandon got at a garage sale with me last weekend. We had a good time together, just the two of us.

Ethans first swimming

We went swimming at our neighbors house and the boys had a great time. This was Ethan's first time in a swimming pool. He had to sit at the edge for a little bit with is feet then hands in the water, then in he went with the neighbor and had a blast! After a little practice, Brandon was able to swim all the way across the pool by himself.

Star Wars

Ethan asked to watch Star Wars this morning, so we got out his lightsaber that he got for Christmas. I now have two Star Wars fans on my hands. Oh no!!!

Picking mulberries

We had fun this weekend picking mulberries in the backyard. We got a big bucket full, even with all the ones that they ate while they picked. We had warm mulberry cobbler with ice cream for dessert Sunday night. Yummy!

Water gun fun

Ethan and Brandon had a lot of fun with the waterguns. Ethan did start getting a little frustrated when Brandon could run faster than he could, and he had a harder time catching him. All in all, a great time was had by all.

The boys got water guns from some aunts and uncles, as you can see, they had a blast!

Ethan loves his school, which is what we call his physical therapy. He had a blast this week playing catch.

Ethan's marshmallows got a little dirty in the ashes. We'll have to work on keeping the marshmallows over the embers, not in the embers.
